Golden Week Event Information in Isumi!

Golden Week has finally started.
A variety of events are going to be hold here in Isumi.
Here is the information of three events.

The first one is “The 25th Mangijo Festival” on May 3, 2014 (Sat).
This festival is famous for a lot of carp streamers. You can also enjoy azalea flowers in this festival!
People might have often seen such scenery in old day, but now a days it is a rare opportunity that you see such a number of carp streamers at one place.
This festival is hold in the season of azalea flowers for you to get close to the nature, and as a part of the regional revitalization.
They of course sell their local specialty products. You can enjoy this festival with all your family.

The second one is “the 8th Taitosaki Toudai Matsuri (Taitosaki Lighthouse Festival)” on May 4, 2014 (Sun).
Shout your dream at Taitosaki Lighthouse! This is a kind of classic, but you may want to try once, “shouting competition.” No charge to participate, and you can get an award if you win.
Why don’t you entry to this program to blow off stream? The program in the event also includes Japanese drum play, hula dance as well as a loach-scooping dance in which everybody can participate. Children can also participate in actual “loach-scooping with hands” event! (free of charge, elementary student and younger.) If you are hungry after shouting, let’s eat at the food stall.

The third one is “Ohara fishing port, port morning market, special opening” on May 4, 2014 (Sun).
The morning market at Ohara fishing port is held on the 3rd Sunday every month, and the special opening is scheduled in the middle of the golden week!
You can buy fresh vegetables and seafood even in the golden week holiday in this market.
It may be a good option to grill and eat the seafood (e.g. Japanese spiny lobster) you just bought at the market on the free BBQ stove, which is very popular among people.
This morning market is usually very crowded, and even more people are expected to come to this market during GW. Please be careful of the crowd and enjoy.

>>see more details.

Although I cannot introduce all the events during GW as there are too many, why don’t you take a trip to the event you are interested.
